What is CENS?

CENS stands for Centre for Nonlinear Studies.

CENS is a virtual network of research groups.
-
CENS was founded in 1999 inside the frame of the Department of mechanics and applied mathematics of the Institute of Cybernetics at Tallinn University of Technology.
-
CENS idea is to bring under one umbrella the scientific potential of Estonia engaged in interdisciplinary studies of complex nonlinear processes.
In 2002 - 2007 CENS was included by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research into the list of Estonian Centres of Excellence in Research.
