What is CENS?

• CENS stands for Centre for Nonlinear Studies.

• CENS is a virtual network of research groups.

• CENS was founded in 1999 inside the frame of the Department of mechanics and applied mathematics of the Institute of Cybernetics at Tallinn University of Technology.

• CENS idea is to bring under one umbrella the scientific potential of Estonia engaged in interdisciplinary studies of complex nonlinear processes.

In 2002 - 2007  CENS was included by the Estonian Ministry of Education and Research  into the list of  Estonian  Centres of Excellence in Research.

What CENS aims at?

• To participate in international research;
