[f2py] Optimization Flags

Hi all,

In the Makefile-<modulename> produced by f2py there are 'FOPT' and 'COPT'
variables that specify optimization flags for the compiler.  They are
concatenated into the 'FFLAGS' and 'CFLAGS' variables if 'MODE' is equal
to 'opt'.  How do you specify this mode ?  I couldn't find anything about
it in the documentation or the help screen generated by running f2py
without arguments.
