Bonjour,
I have all *.h files (including string.h) in
C:\MinGW\include
Do you have a complete install?

I installed in C:\mingw and had C:\MinGW\bin in my PATH for sure. Not
sure about C:\MinGW\lib. But header files like sting.h were no where
in C:\mingw.
