x86_64 gotchas: bugs, complains & solutions
- fvwm included with Ubuntu Edgy on AMD64 does not respect GNOME desktop hints. Solution: uninstall Ubuntu fvwm and install from the source code (www.fvwm.org). Its installed under /opt/fvwm with symbolic links in /usr/local/{bin,man} .
