Firewall rules for kev are setup in /etc/rc.local and /etc/hosts.{allow,deny} . In rc.local, iptables are used to stop the traffic in several ports as needed. In hosts.*, RPC based services (with changing ports) are configured.
To list all programs that are listening for connections, use
sudo netstat -l -p
