Prof. Andrzej Pekalski (Wroclaw Univ.): "A simple model of annual plants dynamics"

A simple model describing dynamics of annual plants will be discussed and the results compared with field data. The role of competition among plants, external conditions and litter decomposition will be studied. We shall show when oscillations in the plant number are possible. We shall also show how the number of seeds produced by a plant depends on the density of plants.
